{"id":1717,"date":"2016-09-20T09:42:08","date_gmt":"2016-09-20T00:42:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fdada.info\/?page_id=1717"},"modified":"2020-02-27T19:44:17","modified_gmt":"2020-02-27T10:44:17","slug":"obj_3_1-en","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fdada.info\/fdada\/en\/home2\/decommissioning2\/obj_00-en\/obj_3-en\/obj_3_1-en\/","title":{"rendered":"<!--e02-02-03-01-->Development of a system for collection, transport and storage of debris after retrieving"},"content":{"rendered":"<!-- category=ObjIndex lang=ja -->\n<div id=\"container\">\n<h1>Development of a system for collection, transport and storage of debris after retrievin<\/h1>\n<h2>Purpose<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>To establish a system from the designing and manufacturing of canisters to collect retrieved fuel debris to transporting and storing them on site and to secure \n\nsafety and stable storage within the site.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Action status and evaluations and issues<\/h2>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>A system by which fuel debris is safely collected, transported and stored is developed.<\/li>\n<ol class=\"notice2\" style=\"list-style:none\">\n<li>&#8560;&#41;&nbsp;Development of overall plan and collection of related information.<\/li>\n<p class=\"indent-1\">\nThe studies have been conducted for the overall technical development plan and its issues by collating the reference information on system development, input from the \n\nrelated projects, and output from other projects. Also, in FY2015, information including the storage canister design, safety assessment technology, fuel debris dry \n\ntechnology is collected from overseas organizations.\n<\/br>\n<li>&#8561;&#41;&nbsp;Implementation of design of storage canister and study on transport\/storage system as R&D<\/li>\n<ol>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;Study of collection, transport and storage system of fuel debris<\/li>\n<p>\nThe studies on the collection, transport, and storage system are carried out based on requirements assuming various types of fuel debris in light of the conditions of \n\nthe Fukushima Daiichi NPS. (For the flow plan of export from R\/B, refer to <a href=\"#p1\"> Fig 1<\/a>, and of the storage side, refer to \n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dd.ndf.go.jp\/en\/strategic-plan\/book\/20170322_SP2016eFT.pdf#page=161\" target=\"_blank\">here (NDF Technical Strategic Plan 2016,page 4-115)<\/a> and 4.4-3 respectively)<\/br> and \n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dd.ndf.go.jp\/en\/strategic-plan\/book\/20170322_SP2016eFT.pdf#page=162\" target=\"_blank\">here (NDF Technical Strategic Plan 2016,page 4-116)<\/a>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;Development of canister technology for storing the fuel debris \/safety assessment technology method<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;The design conditions for storage canisters, basic functions and general shape were determined. (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dd.ndf.go.jp\/en\/strategic-plan\/book\/20170322_SP2016eFT.pdf#page=160\" target=\"_blank\">here (NDF Technical Strategic Plan 2016,page 4-114)<\/a> Reference)<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;Issues related to the safety assessment required for fuel debris canister design are collated and detailed study items were determined. (i.e. \n\ncriticality evaluation, structural evaluation and countermeasure against hydrogen generation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ol>\n<li>&#8562;&#41;&nbsp;Installation plan for facility storage of the fuel debris and its measures are required to be studied since much of the land within the Fukushima \n\nDaiichi NPS is now being used for the contaminated water tanks or temporary waste storage, and the space is limited for the system development.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/br>\n<li>Prototype of storage canister and handling equipment and verification by mockup test \n<\/li>\n<p>\nDesign is to be developed based on the basic specifications.\n<\/br>\n<p>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>\nAs mentioned above, now it is in the stage where development of the system up to storage process and studies on the basic specifications of storage canister are \n\nperformed. The technical issues identified as the system develops should be handled appropriately.
